A little help with my water pistol? It doesn’t squirt anymore!

Estruendoso asked:

How do I get a cheap water pistol to stop leaking?
(Note: Do not answer telling me to purchase better water pistols.
That is not answering the question).
haven’t bought them yet. I know cheap ones leak, that’s why I’m trying to figure out how to make the water inside last longer. My friends and I are putting together a party which involves a large scavanger-hunt/game-of-hide-and-seek. The water guns filled with a specific washable dye will be what they use. But I don’t want them to walk 30 yards and suddenly their pistol is empty because all the dye leaked out. At the same time, our budget is really small so the cheap guns are the only thing we can get en masse.

Mr Winky asked:

And who was it?
